For the manufacture of active and/or passive soil protection systems, Artigiana Costruzioni is the grantee of SOA certificate for “Specialised Solutions” (according to Enclosure A of Presidential Decree 34 dated 25.01.2000) OS12 (Class. III) and OS21 (Class. II), issued by the certification body QLP-SOA S.p.a. Thanks to its fully trained and always up to date staff, Artigiana Costruzioni is able to design, manufacture and fully install the structures and systems used for soil defence making use of the latest equipment. Indeed all onsite installation operations are performed by qualified rock climbers capable of working at high altitudes and, if required, working at the rock face. Artigiana Costruzioni’s highly trained workforce is in charge of all manufacturing, assembling and maintenance operations and our staff is also registered to carry out work at the rock face or, more generally, at certain high altitudes in accordance with the provisions of Government Decree 235 of 08.07.2003 in order to ensure the correct working standards on very steep work sites. Because of the need to operate in often particularly harsh environments, we have developed equipment designed to ease our work on site: mechanical or manual hoists/winches, rotary percussive down-the-hole mobile rig hammers, capable of operating along slopes or a rock face etc. Our workforce is also assisted by, and trained in the use of, a helicopter for lifting drilling equipment and materials to the work site, for transporting the structures, and for performing the grout injections etc. |
